About
Montgomery Center for the Arts presents the 4th Annual People's Art Show this weekend with an opening reception Friday, October 9th, from 5 - 8 PM. The gallery features fifty works of art of all mediums and any subject from over 30 artists.
“This is the largest group of artwork we have had in the four years we have done this show,” says Melissa Haberman, the MCA programming director. “Many of the artists are from right here in Montgomery and the surrounding areas, but not all.” Some are from Jeffersonville, Newark, and other locations beyond Franklin County.
“We are excited that the interest in this show is growing. The People’s Art Show has become the MCA’s biggest event. This is exactly what the art center is designed to do, foster community around educational, cultural, artistic, and social experience.”
